How It Started

A Passion for Justice

The Afghanistan Discourse was founded in 2001 by a group of Afghan human rights activists. They were inspired by the belief that all Afghans deserve to live in a free and just society.

The organization’s early work focused on documenting human rights abuses and advocating for the rights of Afghan women and children. Over the years, the Afghanistan Discourse has expanded its work to include a wide range of human rights and democracy promotion activities.

Today, the Afghanistan Discourse is one of the leading human rights organizations in Afghanistan. We work with a network of partners across the country to promote human rights, democracy, and the rule of law.

We believe that all Afghans deserve to live in a free and just society. We will continue to work until that goal is achieved.

If you share our passion for justice, we invite you to join us in our work. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of Afghans.
